As detailed in our September 2021 announcement, we have had to increase our yarn prices for Q4 2021 due to rising costs for energy, CO2 emission allowances and generally rising costs for chemicals, additives as well as packaging materials.

During Q4, some of these costs have unfortunately continued to increase in an unpredictable way. In particular the gas price as an indicator for energy costs has more than doubled its Q3 peak once again in the course of the fourth quarter. A quick easing is not to be expected.

Since we cannot compensate for these further increased costs either, we will have to implement another general price increase on January 1, 2022. This is an indispensable step in order to be able to continue offering high-quality products and services for our broad product portfolio.
